Home ground: The Memorial Playing Fields Upper Beeding Reserves play in the West Sussex Football League Division 3 North.
Upper Beeding formed in 1965, playing as it still does at the Memorial Playing Field, High Street, Upper Beeding. In the 1965/66 season the club competed in the Worthing League.
In 1988 the club joined the West Sussex Football league, in 93/94 we were crowned Champions of Division 5, in the same year the first team were Champions of Division 3 and also won the Tony Kopp Cup.
Season 2001/2 the first team we were promoted and elected to the Sussex County League Division 3 for the first time in our history, meaning Reserves would cmpete in the Worthing and District League.
2006/7 we were relegated back to the West Sussex Football League and we moved our Reserve Team to that league from the Worthing + District League.
2007/08 was a one of Beedings most succesfull seasons in recent years. A new manager and new players drove Beeding to promotion back to the Premier Division. The Reserves also won promotion to West Susses Div 4 North.
2009/10 was a fantastic year for the reserves, young manager Matt Gray lead the team to promotion in his first full season.
With the squad looking bigger and better than ever big things are expected this year. |
