Club Details

Upwey + Broadwey FC play in the Dorset Saturday Leagues.

They were re-formed in 2006 by Steve Reynolds and Brian Reed and were admitted to the Dorset County Football Association Division Three at the start of the 2006/07 campaign.

In their inaugral season, they secured promotion to Division Two after winning the league and also went on to win the Dorset County Junior Cup, beating rivals the Railway Tavern 1-0 in the final.

They then finished runners up after a heart breaking last day defeat to champions Crossways.

The 2008/09 campaign turned out to be very successful as they eased their way to the Division One title and were promoted to the Dorset Senior League, losing just one game all season. They also reached the semi-finals of the Dorset Intermediate Cup.

At the end of the 2008/09 season it was decided that the team should apply for the new Dorset Saturday Leagues and that they would join forces with the highly successful Sunday outfit the Duke of Albany FC.

However, after a very inconsistent season for the newly formed reserve side, it was decided that the reserves should disband...... For now.

The club colours are: Black + white striped shirts, black shorts and socks.
