Southside Wildcats FC play in the Cheltenham Youth League under 12 division.
We were formed in 2005 with a mixture of players drawn from the Southside Lions + Southside Tigers teams, plus 1 or 2 newcomers. Our philosophy is football for everyone, with the emphasis very much on enjoyment!
This has now been recognised by our fellow league members, as the Wildcats have been voted the most sporting team in the division for season 2005/06 and 2006/07, and thereby collecting the Sportsmanship Trophy in both our inaugural season and second season. Indeed the Wildcats were the only side in the Southside organisation of 22 youth and men's teams to be awarded a trophy. |
