Home ground: Victoria Park, Millbridge, Plymouth

Windmill FC have been formed this season 2011 / 2012 and are made up from the local lads from our local pub. They play on a Saturday in the Plymouth + West Devon Combination Football League division 4. The Plymouth + District Combination League was formed following the amalgamation of the Plymouth + District League and the Plymouth Combination League in 1996, both Leagues having their origins dating back to the 1900's. In their heyday, each respective League had in excess of 90 member clubs, and clubs from South Devon, North Devon and Cornwall were prominent members of those Leagues in the 50's and 60's. In addition, both Leagues welcomed teams from the Professional clubs and the Armed Forces as members.

The team itself has the backing of the pub's landlord Mr Darren Luxton in addition to a couple of local businessmen who have been good enough to sponsor us.

Our manager Ian Vincent (sparky) has been involved with the Sunday team for 2 years and has decided to give the local lads a Saturday team they can play for with the help of treasurer and secretary Andrea Cordon.
