Club Details

Welcome to the Official website of Withywood United.

Withywood United would like to thank BASCOM-BMS (2009-11) ,FELTON SCAFFOLDING (2010-11) ,M + J TRANSPORT (2011-13) + TC ROOFING (2011-13) for sponsorship over the past + present seasons.

We would also like to thank Cutters Friday FC for use of the facilities at the Cutters Ground.

Withywood United were formed in the summer of 2009 after another local Sunday Football Team folded. They say the first Season is always the hardest and it was just that as the team struggled for players and performances on the pitch. Withywood United were put in the Bristol + Wessex Senior Division for the 2009/10 Season and even though it was a struggle you could see the team had potential finishing 5th. The team managed to add players to the squad for the 2010/11 Season which would be in the Bristol Regional League Division four. The team had been on a Major high in the 2010/11 season after getting to the Final of the GFA Sunday Minor Cup ,the semi finals of the 3 Lions league Cup and finishing 3rd in the League winning Promotion. With the team doing so well who knows what the future holds for Withywood United.
