Worthing Leisure FC were former members of the Worthing and Horsham Sunday League where they began early life as Rose Wilmot FC. After gaining promotion from every league they became a hugely successful team during the nineties and early noughties winning numerous major honours within the league.
Leisure's debut season in 2009/10 heralded success on the pitch by securing the Worthing League Division 1 title meaning promotion to the Premier Division for the 2010/11 season.
Further silverware was gained by completing the League and Cup double by way of the Walmsley Cup.
Leisure also narrowly missed out in two other cup competitions by finishing as runners up.
In Worthing Leisure's debut season in the Worthing League Premier Division 2010/11 Leisure announced themselves as the number one team in the league by claiming the title. The double was completed by claiming the Mike Smith Trophy.
Off the pitch the club has a reputation as team full of friends and a great excuse for a social, this will be continued once again.
