Club Details

Home ground: Jubilee Playing Field, Main Road, Wylam NE41 1DN

Wylam Rockets uu10s Dynamo play in the Tyne Valley Insurance Mini Soccer League Division 1.

The club was founded in 2003 when there was just one junior side, which played at U10 level. Since then the club has expanded rapidly to include mixed boys and girls teams from under 7 through to under 10, as well as boasting a thriving girls section, with teams at u10, u11 and u12 level.

Wylam Rockets was founded as, and remains a a Charter Standard club, and offers fun football (both competitive and non-competitive) in a safe, friendly environment with F.A qualified, CRB checked coaches involved at every level.

Home fixtures are played at the Jubilee Playing Field located at the heart of the village community. Wylam is easily accessible, being signposted off the A69 (from North, East and West) and via Crawcrook (A695) when crossing the River Tyne from the South. NB: POLITE NOTICE: Please DO NOT PARK on the main road outside the ground as we have had access complaints from passers by - drivers and pedestrians - and the police (Double Yellow Lines are threatenened; also, the area is regularly patrolled by traffic wardens and they DO issue tickets!) Cheap Pay Parking is available nearby behind the village War Memorial (along the main road between the Jubilee and the Railway Station); there are also often spaces along behind the Fox and Hounds Pub, opposite the Library.

The official club colours are white or blue shirts, blue shorts and socks.
