In arriving at these allocations it has been assumed that Halifax Town FC have been expelled from the Football Conference. This has led to Altrincham FC, Hucknall Town FC, Borehamwood FC and Slough Town FC being reprieved from relegation at their respective levels. This situation has NOT been confirmed and may be subject to change. We will obviously make every effort to advise you of any subsequent changes to the Halifax Town situation. As in previous years there, may well be other changes forced upon us and these will be dealt with accordingly.

News item2 Feb 2008 - How Leamington saw today's match

News article

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bore draw in the Cotswolds
by Chris Baker
News posted: 02-02-2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brakes stretched their unbeaten run to nine matches and notched up a fourteenth clean sheet of the season, but fired blanks at Bishops Cleeve. In a game that Leamington edged without ever being at their best, it was really only in the second half that things came alive. It proved to be "one of those days" as the Cleeve goal led a charmed life, with Towers, Beard, Mackey, Herlihy and Dutton all going close. In the dying minutes a bicycle kick from Sanders shaved the post but this was as close as it got. With Evesham and a number of other promotion contenders winning games today, let's hope that Cadden's men do not live to rue those spurned chances. Match report to follow
