News item2 Dec 2011 - HayWARD brings reWARDS

An away debut for new boy Josh Hayward at Stratford Town really saw reasons why he was so wanted by The Hatters with a brace of goals to remember and I'm positive it will rain goals for him and The Hatters. Hayward's power, strength and determination was evident enough to bring Hayward the rewards he and The Hatters so deserve. Josh has fitted in immediately and the impact shown in his debut that this gem will go from strength to strength.

News item5 Sep 2011 - Welcome Back!!!

I know you ALL will be pleased to hear that Jack "the Cat" has decided to return to the fold. I know we have missed him on a personal basis and the lads have missed him too.

His return between the sticks will take place on 21st May against JS Soccer at home.

We thanks Josh Aldridge very much for his short period at the Hatters but a fresh challenge I feel may be on the cards for him as he chances his arm at the Floodlit league with Eurofast, he had the chance of another floodlit league team but with their reputation of poor standards both on and off the pitch Josh decided on Eurofast. Who's blame him!
I know he has bought many trhings to our team and I personally wish him all the very best in his career.

News item4 Aug 2011 - Goodbye Jack "the cat"

Unfortunately Jack "the cat" has made the decision to leave Shelfield Hat Trick...the club that gave him a chance of Saturday football a huge step up from where Jack was playing, Jack progressed to a very high standard within the team to where Jack was picked to play for the County, district and now the Midland Floodlit league with Chasetown(next season), we are in no doubt that Jack was greatly improved by the top class standard of coaching he received from Merv Cooper, however a very bad knee injury playing Rugby faultered Jack for 3 months and was about to challenge for top spot when he and his parents decided to move to pastures new.....that's football!!!!!!
I'm sure you all wish Jack the very best for the future, no matter where he plays and if you see him around the circuit I am positive you will shake the hand of a very good keeper.

Great news that Jack "the cat" has made a successful injury recovery, I'm sure you are all pleased to hear as this recovery has been a long treck and a frustrating one for Jack and his parents.

However we as a team are now in the very fortunate position that we now have two excellent keepers which will be challenging for the position between the sticks.

New signing Josh Aldridge has signed for the Hatters, a welcome relief for the team as they now have a regular keeper between the sticks while our resident keeper is on the mend.

Great loss has happened in the ranks of the Hatters......We have lost our Cat!!! Jack the resident keeper has injured his leg playing rugby and his knee has decided that it wants to be outside its' correct place, pooped out. We all know how frustrated Jack will be sitting with his leg in a cast wishing he was playing and so do we!
Please take time in wishing Jack all the best and a speedy recovery, if you have Jack's number plese send a good luck wish.
Hurry up back Cat!

News item31 Aug 2010 - Last Pre-season game against The Blues!!!

Guys after the game last Tuesday against Woodbourne Sports U18, we were invited to compete against the Birmingham City Academy especially after the impressive way we competed that evening, narrowly losing 3-2. The invite was sent out for only 11 players to pit their wits against 11 Blues players. As I can only take 11 players the selection will mainly be those players that played on Tuesday night at Woodbourne Sports, for those not selected I apologise, but I'm sure the non selected players will come along and support the Hatters Boys.

ALL PLAYERS selected or not WILL be in dress code of Jacket with badge on, club tie and white shirt, black trousers and polished shoes! NO TRAINERS
Good Luck

These are the fixtures that we will win to get promoted to the Division you all belong. After a fantastic pre-season where we witnessed 1 draw and 3 wins at our age group then to blow everyone away with the professional performance against a strong U18 team Woodbourne Sports you deserve to be in top flight. When you enter onto the pitch and take that pre-season attitude then there is no reason why the league cannot be taken apart by Shelfield Hatters U16's!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lets make it a season to remember guys for your parents and yourselves, this year I have a great feeling of great things for you ALL!!!
Cheers
Boss
