Blackpool Rangers play in the Blackpool and Fylde Sunday Alliance (B.F.S.F.A.) in Division 3B. They were formed in 2005, but the vast majority of the squad played for many years for local junior side Blackpool Rangers Junior F.C. In fact the team has left Junior football a year early due to the players in the squad wanting a "new" challenge as they had been playing the same teams in youth football for the best part of 10 years ! Most of the players have just left school and are aged only 16 ! Even older players in the team have been use to playing under the name of "Blackpool Rangers" in one form or another and their Manager John Miles has been involved with this name for over 28 years - as a player,supporter,fundraiser,sponsor,manager and now secretary ! Therefore it was an obvious choice to continue with the name of Blackpool Rangers !!!
