CLUB DETAILS
Worthing Wanderers FC were established in 1999.

Managers: Rob Brown and Nick Brett (Joint) 1999-2000, Darren Payne 2000-2005, Craig Stuart 2005-2006, Neil Wallis-Tayler 2006-2006, Rob Brown and Darren Payne 2006 - Present

Darren Payne a Worthing Wanderers legend took the club from Division 3 of Worthing + Horsham League to the heights of The Worthing + District Premier League in consecutive seasons. In Jan 2005 he realised his dream of taking the club any further were being hindered, in need of a break from the game Payne continued in the office for the rest of last season, his then Assistant Craig Stuart was given till the end of the season to prove his value at the club.

Stuart done a great task and completed an emphatic season by winning the "Worthing Cup Double". Both The Mike Smith Trophy and The Taulke Finance Charity Cup were Won against Huge and Local Rivals L+S Athletic, and both on Worthing FC ground, Woodside Road.

In the summer great news broke by Sky Sports that life long fan and oil tycoon Robben Abrownovich had taken full control of the club. Money was being pumped into the squad for transfers and big wages to attract the quality of players needed to take the club to the next level.
