Based in Wooler, Northumberland the club was formed in 2001 and joined the league for the start of the 2003/2004 league season. With the club being based in the heart of rural Northumberland our player base is drawn from a large area stretching from Coldstream and Berwick Upon Tweed in the north to Alnwick and Rothbury in the south.We have very close links with Lowick YFC girls section which is linked to this site. Both clubs girls/ladies are coached by the same coaches led by Bill Blyth and you will see via the player profiles that a large number of this years squad have progressed through the junior section.
Glendale are the first Ladies team to play league football in North Northumberland and a very ken to promote the game in the area. Anyone interested in either playing or helping with either the ladies or girls section will be made very welcome and can either contact one of the listed officials or come along to a training session. Ladies 6.30-8.15pm at Wooler fc on wed nights or 6.00pm- 7.00pm on tuesday nights at Berwick High School for the girls section.
