Franklands Village FC start the 2007/08 in the Mid Sussex League Division 1 after finishing second place in Mid Sussex Division 2 in the 2006/07 behind Uckfield Town II.
2006/07 was also a successful year on the cup front for the Village as they won both the Edgar German Cup and the Mid Sussex Football League Junior Charity Cup.
