FC Ostrich play in the East Midlands Senior League and we are now in our fifth season. In our inaugural season we found ourselves in the East Midlands Senior League Division One and finished very creditable runners-up. We remained in Division One but could not better our positition of second the following season, which was nevertheless a notable achievement.

For the 2004-05 campaign we were promoted to the Premier Division where we gave a good account ourselves, finishing mid-table. Last season, 2005-06 was particlularly disappointing, the loss of big players for prolonged spells coupled with some poor performances saw us finish 8th in the league, our worst performance to date.

The current campaign has brought in some fresh faces and with it renewed optimism. With a new home ground at Vicarage Park in Mickleover, FC Ostrich are looking like genuine title challengers. Having put together a run of 9 wins in 10 games, the clubs best ever run of form, the team are starting to show their true potential.
