Shadforth Plough play in the Durham Sunday Football League, 4th Division.

The club was formed 2007, with thanks to Nev Carman, Richard Warburton, Jack Moore, Claire Robinson and Jonathan Finch whose hard work has managed to get the club off the floor and, up and running. Also a thank you to the locals in the pub who’s generosity in donations for raffles has greatly helped to improve the finances of the club and made this all possible.

After a tricky 1st season, in a league we were only 6 points of promotion and reached a cup semi final, we are looking to build on this season with a big, stronger squad.

Home games are played at Ludworth Community Centre, spectators are more than welcome to come and watch any of the games. Please see the notice board in the pub or monitor the website for fixture dates and times.
