Sutton are now beginning their fourth season in the MJPL. Last season was another successful campaign, winning the Championship by 7 points and reaching the Cup Final. This comes after winning the League and Cup double in 2006/7 and the Cup in 2005/6

In addition we finished the season by beating a Professional club's School of Excellence team which has resulted in six players being invited for pre-season trials at that club, in addition to one lad who has already signed a two year contract with them. Some of these boys have also been invited to other clubs (Derby County + Birmingham City) for pre-season. Due to this we anticipate another extremely tough season with more teams joining the under 15 section this year and the standard becoming even higher
