Vets Reunited play in the South Shields Sunday morning league. They were reformed about 4 years ago by some former players of the original Vets football club. Hence their name Vets Reunited. 2007-08 Season saw the club win the A Division cup, Runners up in the Alex Woodcock cup and Runners up in the league to gain promotion to the Premier Division. We train every Thursday at Mortimer Comp from 7pm - 8pm. Team manager Arthur "Steptoe" Wardale recently retired and handed the reigns over to Keith 'Bobby the Pleat' Smith and Ian 'Harold Bishop' Robson. The team would like to thank Arty for his commitment over the last few years and wish him all the best for the future.
