Formed for the start of season 2006/7 Wymondley Park Wanderers came into being.

Under new management the talent in the team blossomed and in our first season together we were crowned as Champions Of Division Four Under 11 in The Royston Crow Youth League. More importantly the boys grew in confidence and their personal development, in what is an extremely stressful school year, was there for all to see.

Now in our second season together the squad has swelled to 16 and we are beginning to find our feet in Division 3. The boys have blended well and are truly becoming a team. There is a depth and strength forming which allows the players to play with freedom.! In fact we even have players just training with us in the hope that a place in the squad becomes available.

We are well supported and have some generous benefactors. With some joint parent funding we were able to supply the squad with new Team Jackets for this season and last year the funding paid for equipment, balls, kit and we even have our own set of portable goals for summer training!

It is amazing to realize that we are only in the under 12 category but this season some of our players will complete 100 appearances for Wymondley Park! We have the potential to stay together for another six seasons, playing approximately another 150 matches and our vision is to keep the team together, to progress as far as we can together and to always enjoy our football!
